Introduction

Xi'an is one of the four major ancient civilization capitals in the world, together with Athens, Cairo and Rome. It records many great changed in China’s history, like a living history book. It is called Chang’an in ancient times. Even today, Xi'an is still an important city. As the capital city, it is also the economic, cultural and political center of Shanxi Province. Natural beauty is another factor to attract tourists.

Xian's many treasured will be opened to you to provide the memories of a life time. The Entombed warriors are a highlight but Xian has much more to offer.

 

Day1: Arrive in Xi’an

Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

 

Day2: Shaanxi Historical Museum-Ancient City Wall

Pick you up from your hotel; firstly visit the Shaanxi Historical Museum. It is a large-scale modern State-class museum, which is situated at the western side of the "Wild Goose Pagoda" in Xian City. It covers an area of about 70,000 square meters, the architectural area of which is 55,000 odd square meters. It was completed on June 20, 1991 and open to the public. Then we will proceed to the Ancient City Wall which was built in the Ming dynasty over 700 years ago, the Xian City Wall is the most complete ancient city wall in China. The wall is a fine example of China's ancient defensive fortifications that were formed over 2,000 years ago, and continued even to the last imperial era of the Qing Dynasty. The wall reflects a brilliant beauty at night when the area is lit up by colorful lights

 

Day3: Terracotta Warriors and Horses- Big Wild Goose Pagoda

Pick you up from your hotel. Then visit the Terracotta Warrior factory to gain some knowledge of how to make the worriers, and then we will proceed to see the real Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the museum. Then we will proceed to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda (7 floors,64.5meters high) where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India. It is the landmark of the ancient capital city - Xian. Finally tonight we are going to enjoy an evening Show at Tang Yuegong: The show that presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital of ancient China.

 

Day4: Grand Mosque- Departure

Today we will go to visit the Grand Mosque. With more than 1200 years' history, the mosque is one of the four grand Islamic mosques in China. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to the next destination.
