SHR002-2: Shanghai Memories Tour
Introduction Shanghai, the largest city in China, is an amazing mix of the ancient and hi-tech western civilization. It is a multi-cultural metropolis with both modern and traditional Chinese features. Shanghai’s gorgeous night scenery is one of the main highlights that will linger in visitors’ minds after their Shanghai travel experience.
Shanghai Memories Tour Shanghai is an intoxicating blend of ancient culture and a ultra modern mega city. In this tour just a short distance from the mega city of Shanghai is the peace and tranquility of Zhujiajiao with its lakes.
Day1: Arriving at Shanghai Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel in the city.
Day2: Shanghai Pick you up at your hotel, visit Yuyuan Garden which located at a very busy marketplace in a complex of traditional-style buildings, backing onto Yu Gardens, you can find everything there from popular local snacks and food, crafts, antiques and souvenirs to Starbucks, teahouses and some great restaurants. And then go to the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. A short walk across Renmin Square from the Shanghai Museum, this is a fascinating insight into Shanghai’s future. After lunch you will visit the Shanghai World Financial Center which is a super tall skyscraper. Then visit the Bund. Once the home of the foreign traders and major banks, the embankment has taken on a new vitality; lovely old European-style buildings mix with futuristic developments, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do – and by night it's magic! Then visit the Jiangnan Silk Museum. See how silk is produced from the cocoons of silk worms, and turned into the beautiful fabric we all know and love. Enjoy dinner after visit.
Day3: Shanghai Pick you up at your hotel. Drive to the Zhujiajiao Water Town. Shaped like an ancient fan, it is an old town with hundreds of years of history. After lunch you will visit Xintiandi, it is one of the busiest urban tourist attractions and imbued with the city's historical and cultural legacies.
Day4: Departure Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport/railway station to catch the flight/train to home.
