CUT003-5: Beijing-Xi’an-Guilin-Shanghai
Introduction: As the capital of the People's Republic of China, Beijing is located in northern China, covers an area of more than 16,410 square kilometers (6,336 square miles) and has a population of 14.93 million people. Xi’an is the capital of Shaanxi province, located in the southern part of the Guanzhong Plain. With the Qinling Mountains to the south and the Weihe River to the north, it is in a favorable geographical location surrounded by water and hills. It has a semi-moist monsoon climate and there is a clear distinction between the four seasons. Except the colder winter, any season is relatively suitable for traveling. Guilin is regarded in China as the countries most picturesque city. Two crystal-clear rivers meander through the city, which is encircled by mountains with unusual & bizarre rock formations and caves. Shanghai, an open city on the coast and a famous historical and cultural city, is a gate to the Yangtze River delta. It is a municipality under the direct jurisdiction of the Central Government, the largest economic and trade center, a comprehensive industrial base and the leading port in China.

Day1: Arrive in Beijing Our well-trained tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel in the city. Than visit the Tiananmen Square –the largest city square in the world and the Forbidden City which used to be the living place of the emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.
Day2: Great Wall (Mutianyu or Badaling) – Ming Tombs Drive to the Great Wall (Mutianyu or Badaling) which is located 50 miles away from the city (2 hours drive), hiking there for one and half hours. Enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon, move on to the Ming Tomb where 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) were buried. Transfer back to your hotel.
Day3: Summer Palace - Temple of Heaven
Day4: Fly to Xi’an – City Wall – Great Mosque – Wild Goose Pagada Arrive in Xi’an, visit the City Wall, the construction was initiated by Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, who was in regime between 1370-1378 AD. The circumference of the city wall is 13,49 Km long, 1 meter high and 15 meters wide on the top. Visit the Great mosque, the largest and best preserved of the early mosques of China, built primarily also in the Ming Dynasty. And visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of Xi'an, originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), it functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang.
Day5: The Terra Cotta – Mt. Huashan Drive 1 hours, visit the Terra Cotta. Upon ascending the throne at the age of 13 (246 BC), Qin shi Huang, later the first Emperor of all China, had begun to work for his mausoleum. Took 11 years to finish, it is speculated that many buried treasures and sacrificial objects had accompanied the emperor in his after life. Altogether over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and weapons on life size figures arranged are the star features at the museum. Then driver to Huashan Mountain, Situated in Huayin County, is some 120 kilometers (about 75 miles) east of Xi'an City, in the end of the afternoon.
Day6: Mt. Huashan - trek
Day7: Fly to Guilin Day8: The rice terraces in Longji Day9: Guilin – Reed Flute Cave Day10: Lijiang River cruises boat Day11: Fly to Shanghai
Day12:Yuyuan Garden and the old quarter – River cruise tour Visit the Yuyuan Garden, Yuyuan means a Garden of Peace and comfort, the Garden is a traditional Chinese park complete with pavilions, lakes, bridges and rock, this small park is located in the heart of Shanghai's old Chinese quarter, built in 1559. Afternoon, take a river cruise tour for 2 hours.
Day13: Visit in Suzhou
Day14: Shanghai - Shopping or city tour Transfer back to Shanghai, take a walk in the commercial walking district for your shopping, or you can do a city tour if you prefer. Day15: Depart Shanghai
