CUT003-6: Mountains Tropiques

 

Introduction:

In two weeks, from Shanghai, four of the most outstanding provinces in south-east China: Jiangsu, Anhui, Fujian and Zhejiang. Day1: Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, our tour guide will pick you up at the airport, transfer to hotel.

 

Day2: Shanghai – Suzhou

After breakfast, transfer to the village of Tongli, a town with medieval streets well maintained. Then another 18 km to reach the city of Suzhou. Because of its many canals, Suzhou has the evocative name of Venice of the East. The traditional Chinese gardens spread over its territory to increase its charm. Suzhou also boasts the title of capital of silk. Visit the garden of the simple policy in the afternoon. Overnight in Suzhou at the hotel.

 

Day3: Suzhou

Heritage of Unesco, the gardens of Suzhou are havens of peace. In the morning visit to the garden Lion, built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), then visit the Silk Museum and the Maison de la Soie, incontournables in Suzhou. Transfer back to Shanghai.

 

Day4: Shanghai - Huangshan

Day devoted to visiting Shanghai: Yu Garden, the old districts, the Temple of Jade Buddha - it was built between 1911 and 1918 to accommodate a magnificent white jade Buddha. Then a boat trip to admire the historic buildings constructed on the Bund along the Huangpu River. Flight of the evening for the city of Huangshan.

 

Day5: Mt. Huangshan

Day6: Huangshan - Shangrao

Following the hike in the Huangshan. Lift and descent route for the city of Shangrao, in northeastern Jiangxi. Pleasant at the foot of Mount Sanquing, near Poyang Lake, near Mountains Huanggang. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day7: Mt.Wuyishan

After breakfast, transfer to the District Geyang. Visit the school Dieshan Shuyuan, built during the Song Dynasty. In the afternoon, transfer to the mountains of Wuyishan in Fujian Province. Part of the Wuyi Mountain National Park is (many wild animals and plants). Picturesque landscape.

 

Day8: Wuyi Shan Mountains and the river Jiuqu

Hiking to reach the cave of Taoyuan. Then descent boat (raft) along the river Jiuqu. Splendid gorges through, seven kilometers, the Mount Wuyi Shan.

 

Day9: Trek in the village

Transfer to Shuilandong and hiking through the villages of Dahongpao among crops tea some where winding rivers. You are here in the heart of traditional Chinese society, still very rural. A short transfer to reach the village of Daanyuan and continue our hike to Huangang. Transfer back to Nanping. Night train from Nanping to Yongding.

 

Day10: Yongding

Arrive in Yongding. After breakfast, we start to discover the villages hakkas, lifestyle surprising. Around Yongding, there are about a thousand houses traditional circular most, they contain up to hundred people. Transfer to Xiayang, which we leave for a hike of three hours between villages. At the end of the day, arriving at the village of Chuxi. Night in a local inn.

 

Day11: Yongding – Xiamen

After visiting the village, we find our bus. Route to the coast, transfer to Xiamen, in Fujian province, opposite the island of Taiwan. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day12: Xiamen - Hangzhou

Crossing by boat to reach the island of Gulangyu, southwest of Xiamen. Famous for its natural beauty, the island is a paradise, away from the bustle of cities. In the afternoon, return flight to Xiamen and Hangzhou.

 

Day13: Hangzhou

Famous for the quality of their teas, Hangzhou hills are home to small villages of farmers. As with our wines French wine, there are different "crus" of tea, known among amateurs. The hill of Longjing produced one of these nectars. Hiking in the midst of plantations and tasting. Then visit the Temple of Lingyin and walk along the lake in the West.

 

Day14: Hangzhou - Shanghai

Visit the city of Hangzhou and the traditional Chinese pharmacopoeia. In the afternoon, transfer to the central station and train to Shanghai.

 

Day15: Departure

Check out of hotel, transfer to airport to catch flight to home.
